You may have already decided that you want to become a parent and now you are working on your plan for the best day care, formula, car seat, etc. However, other folks have not decided what their parenting plan looks like and how they will still be able to accomplish their goals while caring for a child.

Maybe you are not ready to take on the full responsibility of caring for this child and you would like a family member to care for the child on a temporary arrangement. This could be a temporary or permanent arrangement. Or maybe you decided that this is not the right time to be a parent because you are so young? Or because you want a two-parent family for this child and you are no longer with the child’s other parent?
